Then you can use one of three options to fill the bookshelf:
1 -

2 - WooCommerce Plugin
Categories / Products
3 - Default Wordpress Categories / Posts
Step by Step (Create Bookshelf Categories / Products)
1 - In the side menu was created a panel menu called Bookshelf Slider. Click Bookshelf Categories and create a new category called Books.
2 - Now let's add some products (books) for the category created. Click on Add Products. Enter a title and choose the category Books, which we created in step 1. In the content editor can put any content: Photo, video, audio and texts. This content can be created to provide detailed product information. In this example we will not put anything. This product will only get a larger image when the image thumbnail is clicked.
Below is a panel meta box called Bookshelf Product Options. Here you set the thumbnail image, the width and height, the type of product, if will open the highlight in popup or not and that will be opened when the thumbnail is clicked. Below are the options with a quick explanation.
a) Thumbnail Image URL - The url of the image with exact size. Optionally you can use "Set featured image" to resize and crop the image dynamically.
b) Thumbnail Width - Required field.
c) Thumbnail Height - Required field.
d)
Product Type - The effect that is applied to a image thumbnail.
e) Open in Popup (Lightbox) - true / false
f) Product Target URL -The content that will be opened. Can be a big picture, a video (Youtube ou Vimeo), an external page or detailed product information defined within the Wordpress editor.
Examples:
-

- Youtube >
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C05pGnZQQtE ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THE-VIDEO-ID )
- Vimeo > http://vimeo.com/6382511
-
External page > http://www.somedomain.com
-
Content within the Wordpress editor > [#description#] or ?size=900x440&p=[#description#]
NOTE: Each field has a help information.
3 - Repeat the step 2 to create more products. Create other categories too if you want. For example, Magazines, CD, DVD, etc. Click on Bookshelf Slider to see all products listed.
4 - Now that we have the products and their categories will show them in the browser using widgets or shortcodes.
Shortcode: To create a shortcode click Create Shortcode. Just set your preferences and save. Then copy and paste the shortcode into a post or page.
NOTE: When you are creating a shortcode, you can choose between three taxonomies (categories): Bookshelf, WooCommerce or Category (Wordpress default).
Each taxonomy (category) has its respective post-type.
- Bookshelf categories (post-type: bookshelf)
- Woo Commerce categories (post-type: product)
- Default WP categories (post-type: post). To enable support for the post, select the Bookshelf plugin submenu BS General Settings > Default Post Support. Check the option True. This means that each post can be a Bookshelf product.
Widget: To create a widget choose Appearance > Widgets. Drag the widget called Bookshelf Widget to Sidebar. Set your preferences and save.
NOTE: Each category will be a button on the menu.
